Insaf, menginsafi

:sob:
Ramai pula share video crane jatuh tu, gatal tangan pi click Play, sampai sekarang menyesal tak sudah.
Huuu mengerikan bila tengok percikan darah :sob::sob:
In my own opinion, kita tak ada hak pun untuk komen semua tu.

Aamiin.

House, for a place to stay.

Rumah.

Sebelum sampai sini, Fendi busy cari rumah sorang sorang guna University's Accommodation Service, which I found this really hopeful. Fendi kena cari sorang sebab Fateen masa ni tengah bekejar kejaran nak habiskan eksperimen. Sorry, Di (Di is what I called my husband, or sometimes Saiful.. no abang abang :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:) !

And Fendi, being loving and thoughtful as he always has, carefully selecting the criteria of the house based on what I desire. Toilet bersih, ada taman.. "kecik pun tak apa.. I just nak hijau hijau" I said. Well the most house that we looked for that time either is too far from Fendi's lab, kena masuk immediately or unfurnished. We ended up with the current house, without the owner putting up images of the house BUT stated as fully-furnished and is quite near to the lab, about 15 mins walk (Hooray!). We redho like that. So Fendi emailed the landlady and the previous tenant asking for photos. From the photos, the house looks so gloomy and (quite) bersepah that time 'cause the previous tenant pun tengah kemas-kemas nak balik Portugal for good. Was it Portugal? Can't remember. Mood redho lagi and we just seal the deal with the landlady and bank-in the deposits (don't even ask the price). Dah tenang rumah dah dapat, now we gelabah for the Visas, Passports and all the IELTS test that my Husband has to complete.

The moment of truth. The minute we stepped into our rented house, I was surprised. The house was so so so clean (The nice landlady asked someone to clean the house before we arrived, thanks Jenny!) and slightly bigger and spacious than what I have imagined - nak tinggal dua orang je pun hehe. I quickly checked the entire house and I am definitely happy with it! Two bedrooms + 1 study room, only 1 bathroom, kitchen with its little pantry :cupid::cupid: and not to forget, a taman that I have always dreamed of... only bigger! hehe Alhamdulillah! Thank you so much Allah! To this point, I think most of my little prayers were granted by Allah *teary eyes*. Come to think of it too, this IS our very first house together as a married couple, I suddenly get emotional as I typed this. So much rezeki that Allah has showered us. Syukur syukur.

This is our house that we can call home I took from the Google Maps hehe.

Gambar Hari Raya at the back of our house.

What I like most about our house, is its lawn/backyard. aaand the dining table and kitchen menghadap lawn. :two_hearts::two_hearts:
Price memang mahal but one thing though, NEVER. CONVERT. MALAYSIAN RINGGIT TO GREAT BRITAIN POUNDS. I can't emphasize this enough. If you ever convert, you would not even think of studying abroad. You will not even have the heart to buy food to survive. So do not ever. Is it our fault the the currency is doing so bad these days? No! *in denial* hahaha.

Aih, some things we can be a little stingy. But come on, this is a house, man, THE place for you and family to stay. Right? It is a place where you can call home - to clean, to eat, to sleep, to pray, to study, to receive guests and entertain them, to grow your own family. So don't berkira much. When everyone is happy, happy thoughts will come and eventually, no stress! Aamiin.

P/S: I really hope we can find a house something like this when in Malaysia. *being hopeful*

Favorite TV Show

Assalamualaikum,

Ever since I got here in the UK, my entertainment has only been the device (i.e. phone) in my hand. (Ah jangan nak exaggerate sangat. Haha!). Frankly, I am very much attached to my mobile (the wonders of smartphone - getting in touch with people via email, FB messaging, WhatsApp, Telegram, ResearchGate, the list goes on and on).

Then Fendi (my husband) bought a TV, though he initially insisted of not buying one 'cause it uses our monthly expense whereby we can just watch movies from our laptops.
Eventually, he ended up buying a TV due to the reasons:
(1) "I homesick la.. " and (2) "Rumah tak meriah la takde TV".
Huhu I honestly don't like to watch TV that much -- sebab rabun, malas nak pakai glasses dalam rumah. Plussss, most of the shows here are just..... plain boring cus we did't subscribe to any of subscription plans. Yang ada are like RTM kat Malaysia la..

1. Come Dine with Me

Rasanya show ni ada tunjuk dekat Malaysia kan? Hehe if belum pernah tengok, it's mainly about a group (consisting of usually four) of strangers akan kumpul and cook alternately for one another. At the end of the show, the best host akan dapat award £1000. And, according to my personal observations, those who critique the most would usually ended up last sebab yang selalu kritik orang tu la yang tak bagus. (woops!) hehe.

2. Four in a Bed

Image result for four in a bed

Terkejut tak baca title show ni? Hehe it is so misleading I quickly skipped the channel whenever the show runs on TV. But ACTUALLY the show was sooo soo good, lain daripada lain! It is actually and I quote "about B-&-B owners take turns to stay with one another - and pay what they consider fair for their stay." The concept of the show is similar to Come to Dine with Me and yes, selalu yang kritik orang tu la B&B dia paling tak best! Some of the B&B showcased here I think is quite ridiculous due to its unreasonable high price with small space and limited facilities of which I think, might as well just stay at a hotel than paying something that is not worth the money.

3. The Great British Bake Off

Ini biasa kot, baking competitions. Tp Fateen lagi enjoy tengok judges tu bake rather than watching the contestants stressing out preparing the pastry/desserts. Must watch!

4. Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners (OCC)

Hakhakhak! Okeh, yang ni kawan yang suruh tengok. It's about bunch of people diagnosed with OCD and they are madly compulsive with cleaning. Fateen suka tengok the cleaning part which they only show about less 5 minutes. The rest of the episode is just how this compulsive cleaners matched up with other people who is completely having opposite habits from them such that a hoarder. It was so disgustinggggg haha sekarang tak tengok dah sebab terlalu geli.

5. Love Your Garden

I am saving the best for last. This is by far, my most favorite show of all.
Hehe this man in the photo, Alan along with his team akan pergi selected houses to revamp their gardens! Of course, mesti la kena apply hehe. Some of the garden transformation budget costs up to £15k - £30k. hohoh kayo kayo. Tapi, the end results are always satisfying! Worth the monehhhh.

Hehe watching these shows really influence me, in a way, I am more attentive towards cleanliness after watching OCC and tiba tiba aje rajin nak tanam tanaman lepas tgk Love Your Garden hehe. If you like, you can try downloading Channel 4 app on your mobile and watch some of the shows. Kalau tak, boleh try search on Youtube, maybe ada snippets :)

Sooooooooooo, I would like to know, what's your favorite TV show?
Come Share with Me :D :D (no award intended hehe)

Talking about statistics

statistics
stəˈtɪstɪks
noun
  1. the practice or science of collecting and analysing numerical data in large quantities, especially for the purpose of inferring proportions in a whole from those in a representative sample.

I hate loathe statistics. ho ho ho bukan main.
The main reason I pursue in Biology field is to avoid solving mathematical equation,
derivation , proving and what not. Especially in statistics.
Little that I know mathematics are the fundamentals of Biology. Oh. my. god.
Don't you know it's killing me softlyyy
But today, surprisingly, I have started to like statistics. Wanna know why?
See below hehe!

Haha! It's soooo lame of you Fateen checking your own stats! LOL!
Well hello from wherever you are! I may contributed in the numbers counted in UK sbb
asyik asyik check blog design. Haha pardon me! I am a noooooooob.
Siapa tu dari US tuuuu? should I cakap orang putehh hihihi.
Hoping the numbers to continue steadily in near future!

Thanks guys! Kisses!

Getting started

Assalamualaikum and Hello dear ones!

Haha! I found this very funny. I can't believe myself having a blog.
Even deciding on the blog's layout and design have been quite a load for me (LOL!),
what more thinking of its content.

Buttttttt, I love love love reading people's blog. I remembered my own sister having one,
(I still can't believe she has one to be honest, haha!),
I love reading Kak Nilam's blog (Hi Kak Nilam! :)), I love Nurul's layout (and Hi Nurul! hehe), of course, the witty Vivy Yusof's blog.
After few blog reviewing (duh, that's what Science had did to me), I finally came up with a simple and not-so-fancy layout.
Go on, go ahead and judge me. Haha.

So, what is the purpose of having a blog? Come on, mana boleh saja saja. Must have at leastttt a purpose.
Admitting it, I have the time since now that I am a full-time housewife. I think blogging will be one of my hobby from now on (let's hope I'll be committed and constant with this and not stop in the middle of the way!).
This blog will mainly be the platform of me sharing my day-to-day routine (#takcukupkeFacebookdanInstagram?!!or new personal experiences that I'll encounter, be it in cooking, traveling, being a wife or even probably my journey of trying to conceive (insyaAllah!).

Hopefully the blog archive that I'm about to build will help me (in a way) to become a better person in future. InsyaAllah.
Well I guess that's it for my 1st blog post. Stay tuned for more (meaningful) updatesss!

Till' then ladies and gents,

Fateen, F.I.
